Summer is on the Way and Homecoming is fast Approaching

Hello Classmates.  Spring has sprung and summer is around the corner.  The May mailing for our 50th Class Reunion at Albion should arrive any day now.  It has the information on how to register and where to stay.  Hopefully you are now getting in touch with classmates and making your travel plans.

The schedule looks pretty full for Saturday - Septermber 23.  Marie Ames at the Alumni Engagement Office (517.629.0208) tells me the early arrivers get a free breakfast at Bellemont Manner on Saturday morning for those in reunion classes of 50 plus years.

We have the opportunity to march in the Homecoming Parade (for those with the legs and spirit) so bring your walking shoes.  Lunch is available at noon at the Dow Center (Field House) before the Foot ball game.

Our reception will be at 4 or 4:30 at the Bobbitt Art Center, then the 50th Reunion photo shoot and dinner at the Science Atrium in the Science Complex on campus.  President Randall will join us for dinner and our special Faculty guest will be Dr. Keith Moore and wife.

Marie and Stu Rutter have entertainment arranged for after dinner.  So hopefully you all are reseving the Homecoming date - September 23 to join in the Class of 1961 Reunion.

Check out the Page (in the left hand list of links) for the Class Scholarhip to see how we are doing.  This is a really good way for our Class to be remembered to future Britons.

See you all at Homecoming.  Regards - Bruce
